Delish turkey burgers!!!

I made this last night and I have to admit this is my new favorite way to make burgers, pretty healthy too!

1 lb ground turkey
little less than 1/4 cup terriaki sauce
3 tbs garlic powder (add more or less based on taste, i love garlic so I use alot)
2 1/2 tbs parsley
dash or two of pepper
dash of garlic powder

In a bowl mix everything except for the dash of garlic powder. After mixed seperate into patties (I had 9 small patties). You can either grill or cook on a skillet. Either way you choose put patties on hot grill or skillet and sprinkle with remaining garlic powder. After a few minutes flip burgers and remain cooking. when browned on both sides and cooked to desired well-ness remove from heat and enjoy!
My patties cooking

Serving Suggestion: Put patty on a bed of fresh spinach and top with spicy ranch dressing (1 packet spicy ranch, 3 tablespoons softened cream cheese, and 1/2 cup greek yogurt), add a side of garlic potato wedges (will post recipe)

Even my 19 1/2 month old son loved it! My almost 3 year old daughter kept asking for seconds!

Crock Pot Spicy Shredded Chicken (for tacos, burritos, or whatever floats your boat)

So the other day I kind of just threw this meal together, well in the morning sense it spent all day in my crock pot, and it turned out amazing! Hope you enjoy it as well!

3 boneless skinless chicken breast (thawed)
1 packet taco seasoning (i used the hot and spicy one, but if you would like a more mild feel free to use whichever one you would like)
Amount of water seasoning packet asks for (could substitute chicken broth in place of water)
1 cup of rice (optional)

In the morning place your chicken in your slow cooker. Then in a cup or bowl mix seasoning packet and water with a fork. Next pour liquid over the chicken. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8. If adding rice pour in during the last 2 hours (if on low). If the remaining liquid before adding the rice doesn't look to be about 2 1/2 cups then add enough hot water until it looks about right. When done shred chicken with two forks. Enjoy!

chicken before shredding or adding rice.

Serving suggestion: I fried up a flour tortilla and topped with some warm refried black beans, the chicken and rice mixture, some warm queso dip, and shredded cheese.

My Introduction

Hi y'all. I'm new to the world of blogging so bare with me. I'm starting Lil' Bit of Everything as a way to share my recipes, crafting/sewing tips and instructions, as well as whatever else I feel like sharing with y'all.

In this one I'm just going to tell you a bit about myself, and if you would like to know more feel free to ask me whatever you want and I will try my best to get back to you with a timely response.

I'm a 21 year old mother of two toddlers. I have been blessed with a very independent daughter and a kind-hearted son. They are my world and I'm sure there will be many posts featuring them. I grew up being taught many handy skills most women my age dont know how to do such as: cooking, baking, sewing, canning, as well as many other things. I hope to share a few things Ive learned to do, and came up with, to help those of you out who would like to learn to do many of these things.
